After School Program and Feeding the Poor

October 9, 2010 by Victoria Rowe No Comment

Jehovah Jireh our provider! More than 25 families received food parcels this month. After school program kids have been busy practicing for this month’s talent show. We have some shining stars in various categories: singing, traditional dance, choir, and drama. I am feeding an average of 70 kids per day, and been blessed to add fresh fruit to their meal almost every day! Money was also provided to feed the High School kids at Boarding Schools in the north-thanks to our generous donors!
We have a school holiday next week, and will take 43 kids on a 3 day CAMP! The 10-15 year olds are very excited, and the village is a BUZZ discussing the upcoming kids camp. Our BIBLE focus will be on Joseph going from the pit to the palace…”Dare to Dream!” All of the kids live in extreme poverty, causing them to function in survival mode only, and as a result they lack vision for their future. Many of the camp kids are orphans, but are growing to know the love of their heavenly Father who has a HOPE AND FUTURE for each of them!
God has provided for all of our needs, hallelujah! Abundant blessings to the donors who gave so generously last month, and may God richly bless you. Thank you for making this mission POSSIBLE!

Please give online via paypal on our website www.amazoncharities.cc click on donation and choose African Dreams-Michelle Smith any amount is greatly appreciated!
