After month of fervent construction, our new Black Footed Camp is finally ready, and at the end of July, we transferred our pocket-sized tigers to their new enclosure which has been designed to duplicate their semi-desert habitat, and comes complete with solar-powered heater pads. During June and July, we welcomed visitors from abroad during the Soccer World Cup and we hope many will return soon to see more of our beautiful Garden Route. Tenikwa featured on SABC TV on Groen during July. This is a children’s program aimed at prickling their interest in the fascinating world of nature and how it works.
