THE LOOK OUT DECK “a legend in its own right”

The Look Out Deck Restaurant is a “legend in its own right”. Nestled between The Look Out Rocks and the Look Out Nature Reserve, this restaurant’s location is unique on our Planet. A must visit eatery of Breakfasts, Lunches, Light Snacks and Dinner.

From Sunrise to Sunset and the stunning rise of full moon, this place just makes you feel free. Be one with the Indian Ocean, reach out and ‘touch’ the dolphins as they mingle with the surfers. In the winter months, watch the whales as they laze about or cruise past the sun-drenched deck.

Alfresco drinking and dining unmatched. The cooking is fresh, simple and jolly good value – the service is happy, yet serious on quality. The diverse menu and extensive wine list, along with the choice Exotic Cocktails and full Bar service, caters for every palette.

Turn breakfast into an occasion and try the “World Famous” Eggs Benedict, or for those with a really hearty appetite, the “Big Brekkie” is well worth tackling. For those late risers who prefer to skip breakfast, an early lunch feasting on the delicious “Snack Platter” or one of the delectable, freshly prepared salads such as the “Blue Cheese Salad” or the fresh “Seared Tuna Salad”, is a must. Holidays and great seafood are synonymous and the Look Out Deck provides an exceptional variety of the freshest seafood around. Try the tender “Calamari” famous large “Wild Coastal Oysters” or the renowned “Pint O Prawns”.

When it comes to the “meaty side of life” you can’t beat the char-grilled steaks, which are matured on the premises to manage the consistently high quality. If you thought you had to be in Durban to get a good curry, think again. The Look Out Deck’s traditional Cape Malay “Mutton Curry” has made a name for itself among locals and foreign visitors alike.

End off the occasion with a little self-indulgence and try the mouth watering homemade “Cheesecake” or heavenly “Pavlova Jubilee”.

this Restaurant is gastronomy and a “Jewel of the Garden Route” – an unforgettable experience.
