The decore is understated yet classy, with large photographs of friendly Plett locals and happenibngs (taken by Glen Murray) adorning the walls.
The Head-chef Billy supports local producers, utlises only freshly-grown ingredients and changes his menu daily. Service, fresh preduce, and the friendly, relaxed ambience will keep you returning to enjoy Kitchen Tabe specials of Carpaccio with peccorino shavings or Thai green prawn curry, from the oven pizzas, and Billy’s superbly simple ‘delights.’
Favourite pizzas include Rostana: roast butternut, roast garlic, blue cheese and fresh rosemary; Tuscana: salami, mushrooms, olives and artichokes. Enjoy aged beef tenderloin with potato croquettes and a classic Bearnaise or Seafood pasta – fresh and local – with white wine and fresh herbs. For dessert, this simple but indulgent menu offers Trio of Cheeses with fig preserve and biscuits, or sweet delights like classic vanilla infused creme brulee with Cointreau oranges.
